In 1989 they made some toys for our annual Christmas gift exchange table. The toys were so popular that many members and then pet stores began requesting them. Within a short time, what began as a hobby, turned into a full-time business. THEE BIRDIE BORDELLO sells nationally and they also have customers throughout Europe, Japan, and Africa. Besides bird toys and stands, they also specialize in hand-fed Amazon babies. These babies can be purchased seasonally, so call to find out what is currently available. Both Lee and Sharyn exhibit their birds at various shows and are judges for the North American Parrot Society. They placed in the "Top Ten" in 1995 and third with Corky, their Congo African Grey, at the 1997 National Cage Bird Show. Both Lee and Sharyn are former members of the SBBS Board of Directors.
